Heating & Cooling

Auto AC inspection

If the cabin is not cooling properly, an inspection can narrow the issue before repair decisions are made. The cause may be related to airflow, controls, refrigerant, leaks, or mechanical components.

Contact Apex with the vehicle and symptoms to discuss the appropriate inspection.

Signs you may need this service

  • Air from the vents is warm or takes too long to cool
  • Airflow is weak at one or more fan speeds
  • You notice unusual HVAC noises, odors, or moisture

What you can check first

  • Compare vent temperature with the AC on and off
  • Try each fan speed and note whether airflow changes normally
  • Check whether the cabin air filter is overdue according to the owner's manual

Only perform checks you can complete safely. Stop driving if the vehicle feels unsafe, overheats, loses braking, or shows a critical warning.
