Fuel-system service

Fuel delivery and control involve pumps, injectors, lines, sensors, filters, and engine-management systems.

Apex can evaluate the symptoms and recommend testing or repairs based on vehicle-specific findings.

Signs you may need this service

  • The check-engine light is on or flashing
  • The engine idles roughly, hesitates, stalls, or feels down on power
  • Fuel economy changes or you notice unusual smoke, odors, or starting behavior

What you can check first

  • Check that the fuel cap is fully tightened if the warning appeared after refueling
  • Note whether the light is steady or flashing and when the symptom occurs
  • Check the owner's manual for the warning-light meaning; avoid driving if the light flashes or the engine runs severely rough

Only perform checks you can complete safely. Stop driving if the vehicle feels unsafe, overheats, loses braking, or shows a critical warning.
